The BubCap adhesive-backed home button cover is the solution to this problem. BubCap home button covers are adhesive-backed, semi-rigid tabs. BubCaps are rigid enough to keep toddlers from pressing the home button, yet flexible enough that adults can activate the button with a firm push. There are 3 strengths of BubCap to help fit different situations, here are our general recommendations: The standard BubCap is for toddlers on an iPhone or iPod touch. The thicker BubCap Ultra is for toddlers on an iPad, or older kids on an iPhone or iPod touch. The BubCap Max is for older kids on an iPad, and is often the choice for schools, SLPs, and use with AAC/assistive-technology apps. Because it's sometimes hard to determine the best BubCap for your particular situation, the BubCap Explorer 6-Pack contains two of each model, so you can experiment to determine which product works best for you. The thicker BubCaps can be used for training, to break your child of the habit of pressing the home button. Once your child forgets about the home button and starts focusing on the apps, then you can often switch to a thinner BubCap, which is much easier for adults to press through.
