There is no point in having to read through one hundred plus padded pages just to work out how to produce a two page CV.
During the eighteen months that I worked for a Job Centre, I saw some truly wonderful Curriculum Vitaes’ or, as they are more commonly known, CV’s.
Due to the current employment climate there were often many professionals who sat down at my desk to process a jobseeker’s claim and produced impressive CV’s that listed their previous jobs, experiences, skill sets, hobbies, contact details and education, comfortably within two pages.
However, there were many occasions when I received CV’s that were awful. Poor formatting, incomplete data, spelling and grammatical errors, even stains in the middle of the paper on two occasions!
And it dawned on me way back then that this was completely unacceptable. That people, young and old and often perfectly able to use a computer or Smartphone were simply unable to market themselves in a proper fashion to an employer.
After a critical appraisal, if you believe that you fit into the latter of the two examples above, then "CV Now!" can become a very valuable tool for you in your effort, to find your way back to work. Read more
